U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs received Ms. Kirstine Damkjaer, Deputy Executive Director of United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Copenhagen, Denmark at 1030 hrs on 6 February 2025 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on matters related to UNOPS’s ongoing activities in Myanmar and discussed about enhancing cooperation between Myanmar and UNOPS. Also present at the meeting were Mr. Sanjay Mathur, Regional Director of UNOPS Asia Region in Bangkok, Ms. Sara Austin Netzer, Country Director and Representative of UNOPS in Myanmar, and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
