Opening Ceremony of Certificate Course in Basic Diplomatic Skills (46/2024)

The Opening Ceremonies of the Certificate Course in Basic Diplomatic Skills (46/2024) conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were held on 23 September 2024 at 10:00 am, at the Lawkanat Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Nay Pyi Taw) and virtually at the Wunzinminyarzar Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Yangon). H.E. U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs delivered the opening remarks in Nay Pyi Taw. Present at the occasions were the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Permanent Secretary, Directors-General and other responsible officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, retired Myanmar Ambassadors, senior diplomats, professors, lecturers, and trainees. The Certificate Course in Basic Diplomatic Skills (46/2024) will be conducted in two sessions in Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon, respectively from 23 September 2024 to 13 December 2024. A total of 200 trainees, including civil servants and individuals from the private sector who are interested in international relations and diplomacy, will attend. This twelve-week-long course covering diplomacy, international relations, international law, political economy and general knowledge.
