U Lwin Oo, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, received H.E. Mr. Iskander Azizov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, at 1000 hrs on 3 October 2024 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw. During the meeting, both sides cordially exchanged views on the further consolidation of friendship between Myanmar and Russia, expansion of bilateral cooperation including trade, education and tourism sectors, as well as closer collaboration in regional and multilateral contexts.
